I’m very grateful for the opportunity that I had to make this great experience in Kyambogo's University, all the four weeks have been amazing and they have given me so much! The Amalthea Trust has a great project that supports Medical engineering in developing countries and I was glad to give my contribution during the training on Ultrasound and X-ray.
The course provides both theory and practical knowledge, training directly with the medical devices made available in the workshop.
An interesting visit to the hospital was also arranged, this has given to the students the opportunity to see many medical devices and many hospital wards. All the students were very welcoming, enthusiastic and keen to learn. I learnt a lot from them as well and through this experience I grew up everyday both professionally and humanely!
