This time next week, our volunteer engineers will be heading out to Uganda again to mark the start of the autumn half of this year's training course. With more and more successful graduates every year, we can't wait to meet this year's students and to teach them as much about biomedical engineering as possible!
The topics covered this time follow a similar pattern to last year, and include the following:
Cardiovascular/ Patient Monitoring
General Biomedical Engineering
Medical Equipment Management
Medical Gases
Once again we need to thank our returning volunteers for all the work that they put in to make the course a success, and we hope they have a wonderful time teaching their selected modules. We know they'll do a great job!
There are always opportunities to help, whether it be by volunteering or simply by donating, so please don't hesitate to contact us should you wish to help out!
